LED conversions for 99E55 AMG Full list
Hi
I've recently replaced all bulbs in the car with white LED bulbs. This is a full list of what you will need and what goes where. The conversion is simple and looks fantastic.
2 x 44mm LED bulbs > main roof lights
1 x pin LED bulb > front reading light
1 x 39mm LED bulb > glove compartment
2x 44mm LED bulbs > rear roof light
2 x pin LED bulbs > rear reading lights
2 x 44mm LED bulbs > rear license plate lights
1 x 44mm LED bulb > trunk light
4 x 39mm LED bulbs > door lights
15 bulbs in total
Roof lights fade for a bit and then black out but this is normal with LED's. All bulb holders just pop off but be careful you don't break the covers. The rear roof reading lights need you to take the whole unit out the roof and remove the rear panel to install the bulbs. The front roof reading light hole where the pin bulb pops in may need a file to open the hole a bit more to get the bulb in.
I have smoked taillights the white LED license plate bulbs and the effect at night is great. As is the effect when you open the doors at night and have this great white glow from the bottom of the doors and in the car. Really great and easy mod that makes all the difference. I've got a black and grey interior (Soon to be black and white) and the white bulbs look great.
Also, if anyone is in the United Arab Emirates can you reply with any good places for engine/exhaust/suspension places. Much appreciated
