I need help fast!

I have no power to windows, trunk release, and driverside and passanger side mirrors. I spilled a little soda on the center area where the shifter is (not the first time, but first time it doesn't waht to work) The reason I need help fast is the driverside front and passangerside rear windows are down...

I checked the fuses and all are good. Is there a relay or something bigger I'm missing that controls all that stuff...? The rear sunshades works fine and so does the traction switch.

Could I just have to replace the switches???

I replaced my window switch group (part# 210-821-39-51-7c45). Fortunately, I was still under warranty. Good luck.

If you're in dire need to get the windows up, I believe you can use
your key (remote) to roll up the windows - or you can roll it down
if you so desire with the same remote.

Good luck.

ob1 is right, just point the key at the led on the drivers/passengers door and hold down the lock button until the windows go up. it will even close your sunroof if it is open. good luck!

Yes, it worked. I'm glad it didn't rain last night.

I'm gonna go to a Mercedes shop not far from me that has a lot of junk mercedes in his lot, and see if I can get the switch unit. It must be the problem. If I can't get a used one from them, how much can I find one for and where is the best place besides dealership?

Thanks again ob1kenobi and croweld for reminding me of the key.

Man!! Just be glad that it didn't go into the Trans. The electronis down there are costly. I had water condesation get down there from a cup and it cost me $1200.00. So if it is just the switch your lucky my man.

So I hear...I just called the mercedes shop. (He's an old southern guy) He was telling me that it was good it wasn't the shifter, and that it would cost about that much.

He was saying that the assembly might cost me around $365. It was a guess since he doesn't order many parts for these cars, but he found that it usually runs 3 times that of the ML's.

And I was doing so good on this car.

Can anyone help me get get this part used? or cheaper than dealer?

Dont laugh....try blowing some hot air on the buttons with a hair dryer! Also...if that doesn't work...spray a tiny bit of WD-40 onto each window button, around the sides etc...just a tiny amount...
If neither of those tricks work....you are **** out of luck.
