Cluster problems!

So the temperature and clock LED went nuts on my cluster as a lot do, I removed the cluster to see if I can get access to just the clock , no luck. I put it back till I decide what to do, all of the sudden I have two warnings! SOS and visit work shop! They were never there before, I have no roadside, car is out of warranty, nothing new or wrong with the car, just these two new messages only when I removed and reinstalled the cluster. I tried to clear them with my OBD reader, nothing ! any ideas or suggestions? should I disconnect the battery for bit?

If you mean that you have missing pixels on your clock and temperature lcd's you may want to check these guys out.

Max,
I am glad your car is running great again. Thanks for the response. Yes I know about these guys, and there are also some bad stories regarding fixing the pixels, but thats aside. when I reintsalled the cluster, the two warnings came on SOS and go to workshop which were never there before. Now I cant clear them!
