Just sold my E55

I just sold my 2000 E55 to make room for my 2003 CL55. I have to say that I was sad to let it go despite the CL being such a nice car.

My E55 has been flawless and bullet-proof for the 2.5 years I have had it. It was the best car I have ever had. Very practical in all respects. I just never used the rear seats, and a 2 door is more appropriate for me.

philster - would you mind disclosing the sales price, milage and options? or if you'd rather keep it confidential, how about an email at lwhitt@***.net ?

thanks - and congrats on the CL.

Do you have pics of your CL55? Also how would you compare the torque acceleration between your ex E55 and the CL55?

Was planning on taking pictures today, but I got stuck on call, so it will have to wait.

As far as the torque and acceleration, the CL feels WAY faster. It also feels way bigger. The E55 does not in any way feel slow after driving the CL, but it does not have the outrageous punch of the CL. What would really be scary is the CL55 motor in a car that weighs as much as the E55. Oh wait, I guess that is coming.

No probs. That would be great a CL55 motor in a W210 E55??
