Steaming problem

When we get in the car it steams up quite badly, you put the front de-mister on and it starts blowing and clears half the screen, The carpets are not wet so i dont think its the matrix, but the Aircon isnt working, could that be the problem?

Thanks - Joe

sounds like a leaky heater core to me if thats the what u guys call the matrix. But from my experiance looks and sounds like a heater core. If so good luck with it cause i know it ain't cheap to fix.

The AC will suck all the moisture out of the air. Thats why MB designed it to be on when you hit defrost.

I have the same problem during winter time. all the inside of my windows are soaking wet especially the back window. I never seen to figure out what was costing it. Air & Heat work fine.
