Thermostats / radiators
Has anyone been able to get our thermostats to kick in at an earlier / lower temperatures W210 E55 N/A that is ....or/and is there a better radiator to use on our cars other than the OEM... I remember Renntech use to have custom aluminum radiators for some of their mods. Curious!

There is a adapter for the 212 switch that will turn on the fans early...
As long as the cooling system is up to date with fresh coolant/water 50/50
and NO blockage on the Radiator/A/C condensor the stock system will work great...also inspect the radiator cap...Its overlooked
A Custom radiator will give you results but will cost a LOT to get one made
But with a custom radiator..You have to worry about room for a thicker core and clearance issues with the fan/trans cooler lines

Thank you Mark, the 212 switch ?
Didnt I hear that there were modified T stats successfully installed or was that only for the SCW211 ?
As for the radiator, the main reason behind the question was that I was trying to find a way to make a little more room ( smaller radiator ) so that I may have the snorkels to the air intake get clear access on the sides of the radiator, , the Passenger side has some room but the driver side seems suffocated!! Ah well it is a thought at least. !!
Regards,
Max

Using a colder thermostat will not help out in warm weather..
