E55 vMax?
According to my speedo, my car gets to somewhere in the 157-159 range before the power cuts off.
Do the rest of you get similar results?
Is the power really cutting off at 155 without me noticing, or does the computer think I'm going 155 when the speedo indicates 159?

Wow, I'm the wrong guy to be answering ... 'cause i've only had my Beast up to 130 or so.
Maybe Rich will give us his impressions (took a picture of his digital speedo at 155!).

155mph is supposed to be the max on the E55 or any of the sedans per the German Automakers Gentleman's agreement.

Almost invariably there's a slight speedo error with the analog speedo's. (My car has about a 7% error in the 65 mph range, but that happens to be across the entire model lineup.) Best way to really tell is to use the digital speedo.
BTW, where the heck do you live that you can actually have the road space to get up that fast? I wanna move to where you are!

The road goes on forever . . .
Of course, the day I bought the Phantom, the government lowered all of the freeway speed limits in my area to 55 mph. First, though, they made it a felony to run from the cops.

159
I've hit 159 on the digital speedo, and it bounced back to 158 and held it there. I checked out the digital speedo with a portable GPS unit. The GPS unit will give an accurate speed, and the digital speedo is 100% accurate. I've checked it in the 130's. The portable GPS unit also can record the trip with the speeds which is kind of neat. Analog speedos on the other hand have a range where they are accurate. In my 911, the speedo is accurate to ~ 90. There is a 10+ mph error at higher speeds.
I have a pic of the speedo at 146. At 150+ I keep 2 hands on the wheel, rather tightly I might add.
