Ventilated seats

I am new to this site and I am planning to buy a 2000-2002 E55 (Silver with black interior) in the upcoming months. I know that heated seats were standard, but how many had ventilated (A/C) seats (I have seen only one in the past six months). I live in South Florida were it is hot 48 weeks of the year, so you can understand my desire for this option. Please chime in about the reliability of this feature, if you have it on your E55.

209/W210 Estate /W211 modded by MBENZNL
I added them to my W210 along with Heat and Multicontour...
Replaced the complete seat with full option seats all factory parts used wire harness switch etc

Vented seats were a very rare option on the W210s..Not a lot of them out there

The Cooling feature is OK..NOT Great But Ok..It helps your shirts from sticking thats about as good as that gets....

I Use the Vented/Cooling feature with the seat heaters ...Works a LOT better

I have it on my E55 and works really well for me especially when the car
is under the heat of sun (summertime). It cools the seats very quickly.

E55
I love the seat heaters in the E, love it. I don't have the vent option, but it sure would help in the summertime. Anything would help in the summertime.

I like the vented seats. I've had no issues with durability

2002 E55 AMG
I have this option and it's pretty good... the only bad thing about the seats is the lumbar support. Mine is all jacked up and I'm too lazy to fix it since I don't really use it.

Vented seats

I also have the vented seats and have not had any issues so far, the only option I don't have is a designo paint or interiorI believe
