Mercedes E55 AMG 1998
Front Ball Joints (UK)
I have been quoted £262 from Mercedes for front ball joint replacement for my Mercedes E55 AMG 1998 model, seems quite high, are these ball joints the same as any other E class Mercedes surely these can be replaced a lot cheaper?

How much is 262 in American money? I paid 450-500 dollars for this to be fixed at the dealer, labor + parts + alignment. I have read though this isn't too hard of a DIY.

£262 is not a bad price from a dealer, they are probably up around £100 / Hour labour. You could try ordering the parts from here
