HUGE PROBLEM PLEASE HELP ME!!!!
I have a 2000 E55 AMG with lil bit less than 85k on it. I was driving it home from inspection today (lol) and my steering went power steering went out??? then it kicked back in and was steering normal and then again went out. I had a power steering pump go out on my SDL so i know what it feels like but it comes back on??? any one have any ideas for me?? maybe steering box??
Please let me know please I already checked the fluid level and it was good. thanks a lot!!!

Try taking a turkey baster and pull a little power steering fluid out of the reservoir. How does it look? Are you running Mercedes PS fluid?
Did the stereo or lights dim when this happened? How do the belts look on the crank pulley?
