E-55 AMG at Zandvoort track with vid link
I beat my car for a few hours yesterday at our local F-1 track. One the way home I noticed that it idled faster than usual and seemed to upshift faster than usual. The 2-3 upshift seems to take longer than I'd expect.
I tried to do an ECU reset but depressed accelerator, then turned on the ignition, turned off ign and then released the accelerator instead of doing it the correct way of
Ignition to #2 position, dash on engine off
Depress accelerator to the floor and hold there for a few seconds
Release accelerator
Turn ignition off
Wait 30 seconds
I'll try that tomorrow and see if that changes the idle or shiftpoints.
When I took off and punched it today I heard a clunk under the hood,
I'm guessing that I ripped a motor mount off.
Any ideas on the problems I mentioned?
Here's a good way to waste 2 minutes and 46 seconds if you're bored. Corner 8 is theone to watch (1:22).
After I stopped my experimenting and found the best lines I managed to
do a 2 min 7 second lap with a 121.9 km/h average and a top speed of
180 on the back straightaway.

An Audi R8 breezed by me as did a racing Golf but I kept M3's an Audi TT and a 911 far behind me. I thought I did ok the first time out after I got the hang of the track.

Nice vid. That looks like a blast!!!!
I wish there was something like that in the Bay Area, although the Silver State CLassis in Nevada looks great too.
