99 AMG AIRBOX?
I need help. Don't want to screw it up.
I bought a set of K&N filters.
How do I install them?
How do I remove the airbox?

Hey LeeRod don't worry basically take off the front part of the cover just clips off, after you removed the hoses. Then the whole box just lifts off just need to give it some muscle and comes off then there are bolts all around the bottom of the airbox, remove those and put the filters in exactly how the old ones were put in.

Just don't forget the most important part...... You will need a special Torx bit like this one http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/produc..._Bit_Star.html to lazy to do another search for you on what size you actually need. Also to lazy to walk alllllllllllllllll the way to the Garage to tell you what number it actually is
Buy yourself a pack at AutoZone. Also don't forget to really wipe down those K&N filters they come pretty oily. Wipe down as much as you can so that they don't eat up your MAF. Report back with your thoughts on the K&N this has been the biggest Debate known to mankind. Paper vs K&N I for one LOVE K&N when I dropped them in my Tank S500 the car would have a nice acceleration to it. I can't comment on the E55 as they came with the car.
