99 model w210 e55 amg
normal operating water temp of e55

hi guys! whats the normal operating water temp on the e55? mine is always above 80 and below the next line after 80 is it too hot or normal? thanks by the way i live in philippines thnkas

Mine is the same. Should be ok. Just make sure you have proper anti-freeze levels.

Normal, as long as it's not in the red you are absolutely fine.

There are other variables you didn't mention in your initial post.
What kind of mixture do you have in your colling system? 50/50? 60/40?
Have you changed your hoses? Did you replace your thermostat recently?
Have you tested the pressure on your coolant reservoir cap?

A little above 80 seems to be normal and when you sit in a stop and go traffic
it goes up a bit.

thanks was able to try stop and go traffic and long drive yeterday the cooling works great! thanks guys!!!
