I am looking for a 2000/2001 E55 in silver with less than 25K miles (still on warranty) and am willing to pay up to $42K. Anyone know of one available?

 

I think you might have to up your price range a bit or move down to a 99 model. A loaded 2000 E55 in good condition has a blue book value of about $47-48k in a private sale. Granted, this is blue book value and the E55 market varies, but as a ball park $42 will get you an excellent 99 fully loaded.

 

That is close to Auction or Wholesale price. Very difficult to find if not been in a collision. Good Luck!

I also think your price is only slightly low - $43 to $45m is more likely. If you do find one for less, beware of flood/collision/lemon cars... also, I'd stay with the 2000 [warranty and svc still in effect], plus the front air dam is more aggressive looking, imo.

Yes and yes. Yes the warranty is a Starmark Warranty and yes it is transferrable.
