Oil Leaks at the Bell Housing & Center Muffler issue
What would be worse case scenario in terms of cost of correction for a oil wet bell housing base? At 80,000 miles are these cars known to have front tranny pump to torque converter oil seak leaks or rear crank shaft seal leaks? What other sources paths do you guys think this oil wet condition could be coming from?
Would a center muffler / resonator system obvious rusting deterioration (casing deterioration due to severe rusting with leaks ) be and indication of the wider exhaust pipe quality problem? It was my underderstanding that the exhaust pipe of this vehicle was made of stainless steel (or some considerable percentage thereof). Other than MBA from who do you suggest that I get a very good OEM replacement. I am aware X pipe application.
Appreciate the feedbacks from anyone. Thanks in advance.

Its foolish to spend all that labor for $10-15 seal, so might as well wait until the tranny rebuild. Hope that helps.
