are the alarm lights blinking? I had this same problem, bought a new key and the problem was solved. Though my old key had an actual hole on top of the lock button, which never affected it for the first 8 months i had it but i guess some water or something got in through that hole and mess it up. new key cost me 300 but it's the new style keys and I haven't had this problem anymore.

Well it was the alarm lights and I tried both my old and new key so then I disc. The battery and turned the lights on reconected it and the problem was fixed. Now 3 abs codes came up lol I hope they go away

Alarm issue
So when you say you disconnected the battery, you do mean the car battery and not the remote battery?
