hi guys has anyone seen the renntech w210 car? have you seen the hood? it has a vent. im planning on doing the same thing on my car but it will be made on carbonfiber. my concern is it has a vent on the front. is it ok to use when its raining? what will get wet on the engine bay and engine? is it safe? will it help cool down the temp inside my engine bay? will it damage anything on the engine? thanks

I had a carbon fiber hood like that on my Mazda RX7 FD and nothing happened when it rained, the slits are actually angled and have a lip to catch any run off water, although some still got in the engine if it was parked outside when it rained.

so you guess it will be safe? by the design i think it will be the pulleys,belt and fan which will tend to get wet... is it safe? thanks

yup. it rains hard in here and the rain is very unpredictable.
