05 c55 silver, 98 Imperial Red C43
Need info on a tranny out of a 2001 E55
this is the tranny I had in my c43 before it went out and was replaced with one out of a 01 e55
722631 00 719650 <<<<stock c 43 transmission
it had a rating of 580Nm. Can anyone post info on the one I have now. I know E55s come with same 5speed but Im guessing they are a lot stronger. Any info???

It was my impression they were all mechanically identical from this vintage. You may need to ask in the regular W210 forum. Oh Lord there has done 722.6 swaps and will know more about it.

A few updates were made in the later years on some of the internal components (which can easily be retrofitted to the older models when rebuilt). You can also take alot of the slop out of them with upgraded internals. But yes, the general architecture is all the same among all 722.6. Just make sure the tranny you are getting isn't already a victim as well and isn't slipping or etc.
