Not hard like it use to be! Brake Pedal that is.
My brake pedal is way too soft now. I can push the pedal all the way to the floor. At a stop light I can keep pushing the pedal all the way down and it never gets hard. I put some Akebono Euro Ceramic pads all around. Are they really soft as compared to OEM? At first I thought I had some air in the brake lines so I had a complete brake fluid flush a couple weeks ago with some high temp brake fluid.

Sounds like you may have other issues at play. Didn't experience this with a Merc, but when a pedal was that mushy on my old BMW, it turned out to be the Master Cylinder was failing...
