People keep offereing me 6-7k????????
But there are other Benz models out there that are far worse. Just look at the 65's. Few years ago the msrp was around $180ish now you can get some for around $80ish or so.

When I got mine i offered Cash $4k lower then asking price and ended up driving over 400miles for $2,500 under his asking price and ended up throwing in extra set of wheels and tires with the deal after stating they only come with the car is asking price is met .
Today i was offered a 2000 s55 with 125k miles but no service history for straight up trade . The dude kept tellin me his car cost 30k more BN then mine , told him dont care show me some paperwork on the car . But he was jockin the w210 e55 .. The fact that he had no history on the car and the chrome 55wheels kinda killed the deal or else I might have been posting pics of my new s55 . But honestly I'm far more then pleased with my $8k purchase as of yet and the fact that it almost yeilded a car that probably cost more is even more PLUS ..Best feeling is no bills ..just gas and go .. Some ppl are idiotic like in disbeleif when i tell them it's paid off like cmon its a 2001 not a 2010. lol
In my local Craigslist .. 01' e320 is asking $10k .. 02 e430 12k ..like wtf lol

One guy offered me 6500 over the phone and I told him to go buy a civic.
I used to own a '99 E430, unloaded it in 2008 for a '05 C230 Kompressor sport, got rid of that a year ago. Contemplating a 2000 E55 AMG now, the dude is asking $10, putting new tires on it, has a carfax (and I know the guy personally), but I'm leery of maintenance costs?!? I lived with my E430 between 68,000-236,000 mi and so got used to the problems with the W210. How much different will an E55 be?
Any wisdom appreciated here. I want to drive this car as my daily driver, and don't want to jump into a money pit, if you know what I mean. I don't want to get trigger happy seeing the AMG badge yet regret later if it's going to drain me otherwise. Thanks for any input/opinions.
