temp readout high - not the engine temp

Hi all,

The digital air temp on my '99 was reading 117 degrees today, which is about 20 too high. Does anyone know what the fix is for this? Where is the sensor?

Thanks.

Sorry to piggyback...mine's the same way. My sensor is brand new, so that's not the problem. Consistently 20-25 degrees too high.
