In any case look for a shop that has a jig machine so they can find out if the actual frame of the car is still in it's original state. If it is then you're in luck.

The best body shop is EuroPro, aka as EuroSlow - however they do excellent work. Do a search on the w211 forum and you will see benzorama review of their work.

I used wagon works in Alexandria last year when my 2000 clk430 was rear ended:

They are very expensive but don exceptional work. If insurance is paying for it I would strongly look at them. If paying out of pocket it will be expensive. My $1200 original estimate by geico turned into a $9700 repair when they where done with it. Glad I was not paying.
