16" winter wheels and tires
So I was going to put some winter tires on my car this year. Came across someone local selling the 16" E320 wheels with winter tires already on. Here are the specs. Would these actually fit and work for a beater set of winter wheels?
4 (four) FACTORY OEM 16" alloy wheels and 4 (four) like new Michelin X-Ice Xi2 Winter 215/55-16 Tires. The bolt pattern is 112mm, 16 x 7.5, with 5 lugs. These fit 1996-1999 Mercedes E-Class type 210.

Ah nevermind. Passing thought. I couldn't bring myself to put these on my car even if they did fit and are better for winter driving.

I highly recommend these Dunlops, and they're available to fit the 18" Monoblocks. I use the same size tires for all wheels, despite the staggered rim sizes. This was the recommended set-up from TireRack, and it has served me very well. I've driven through some serious weather and felt safe and comfortable.
I hope this helps.

Never thought about just putting the same size all around. Actually, didn't even think that would work putting the "skinny" tire on the rear wheel.

17" all around I drove mine for one winter never again. My car had zero rust on the belly till I drove it for one season in New England not to mention the ridiculous pot holes. In either case I had a decent looking 17" rims with used Blizzards. My car definitely did not like the cold. She drove a little rough and with some sub zero temps I would cringe when I would start her up. Now she sleeps in the garage and the winter beater is ready

Make sure to power wash the belly on those salty days...
