hey guys im looking to change out my lower control arm bushings,
i wouldnt want to go OEM route, loooking for something more performance and durability oriented.

i have heard of solid or poly (?) bushings that provide better handling and reduce play, but not sure who supplys them or what is the best one out there for our cars

could somebody point me in right direction please?

ps: also does anybody know the torque spec on Front Wheel bearings how tight they should be? when i boughty the car they had some play so i tightened them up a bit so there is no play - now 2 months later both of my wheel bearings are shot - i might have cooked em by over tightening.

lol what? ^ haha

chance's are your wheel bearings will need to be re-placed ussually when you re-tighten them if they have play they are in fact shot. As far as the tq? not really sure as I had my indy shop do them. If you can't get an answer here on the torque post in the regular w210 forum.

Try autohause this where I get my parts from and so far so good. I also bought front wheel bearings from them. (fronts)

GL!

Haven't heard much about the poly (bushings) do a search
