Transmission acting differently

I manually shift up and down on most days.
It used to be that at a stop, when I held the shift lever to the left, the transmission would go all the way down to 1. Now it only goes down to 2. If I then pull the lever left one more time, then it goes to 1. Also if I'm in D and come up to a stop, the transmission starts out in 2. (I can tell by manally pulling the transmission down to 1, and can feel the car shift into 1.)
What do you think is going on?

Are you driving in "W" or "S" Mode?

That was it

Thanks guys.
It was in winter mode.
I never drive in winter mode, so I must have dropped something on the switch.
Mystery solved.
Thanks for the help!

We don't use Winter mode much in the South...although lately...LOL! I do find it useful in stop-n-go traffic. Kills all the 1-2 shifts but you just have to remember to put it back in Summer mode.
