Hello fellow Benz owners. I just thought a good transaction should also be noted on the forum because sometimes, it seems like the negative can over shadow the good. A fellow memeber from Virginia was selling 2002 E55 brake rotors. We negotiated on a price and shipping, and the sale was one. We agreed to complete the sale like good neighbours. I wrote a bank draft to Hank (forum memeber), and he confirmed that he recieved it. He then packed upo the rotors and got them to me as soon as he could with a tracking number. I live in Vancouver Canada so this was quite the long distance deal. Not saying every transaction should be done this way, because it can't. There are people that will try to screw you over. All we did was just kept in communication....

So, thank you Hank for your integrity and honesty. We just put on a clinic on how a transaction between to fellow Benz owner should be. So just want to note this positive transaction...

Thats kool that not everyone out to scam .. I had it similar experience with a member : Anatoly, i asked him if he could located me a front euro plate holder since i couldnt find one in North America for life of me . He went the same day located a used one and shipped it to USA from Germany, came within a matter of a week and cost half what a brand new one . Shoot if he ever in the states and local and need a place to crash I'd let him in just because he went out of his way to get that part for me lol ok well maybe I'd have to ask the wifey ..

Thanks for the nice comments Shaun and frankly I couldn't have asked for a smoother transaction. Let me know if you ever come down to the DC area and we'll grab some beers, my treat of course (I still owe you $22 for shipping).

P.S. Brakes are on the car and it 's great. My brother put them on at his shop (Eagle Ridge GM). Cool to see other mechanics go up to the car and say "damn look at those rotors!" The W210 E55 is still an awesome car even in this day and age of new technology....
