Getting Excited Again!
After many months of searching for just the right 210, I sorta lost interest in the "hunt". With a waxing workload and water temps on the rise, I have been consumed in work and cooled the search for an E55. Until today.
I visited a customer with a swimming pool heater that had met it's demise. A quick diagnostic and physical survey told me that there was no way to save this one. After delivering the bad news to my customer that he would be spending $3K to replace, he walked back towards the kitchen in a beleagured mood. As he opened the garage to leave for his office at the hospital, the door raised revealing a black E55.
I said, "Sweet AMG! Is that a 2000?"
Caught offguard, he replied, "yes it is". I asked him more questions and we actually hit off a pleasant conversation exchanging information. He was excited that I knew so much about his car. I even told him about the enthusiasts on this site.
I have renewed my search.... and there are some good ones available
