Seat issues
I'm having a couple new issues with my driver front seat, and was hoping this was a common problem so I could have an idea of fixing it without bringing it to the dealer...since I won't be doing that. ![smash](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/smashfreak.gif)
1) The air for lumbar works intermittently. When I turn on the car the seat deflates. If I wait for a little bit I can try to adjust, but a couple minutes later it will deflate again.
2) The heat for the back of the seat doesn't work, only the heat from the bottom comes on. Passenger side works fine as far as heat.
Again, this is my driver seat. I was just wondering if someone had this happen and could point me in the right direction.
Thanks

I tracked down an air problem for my driver's seat. It turned out to be the 90 degree fitting that connected the driver's seat. I temporarily pushed the tubing in and it held until I replaced the 90 degree fitting.
Here are some pictures.
This is the main air feed into the seat. If you disconnect it, you can determine if you have air going into the seat and also determine if the PSE pumps air during demand. It sounds like you may have seat bladder leaks or controller leaks.
The heater: Sounds like the back rest heater elements are inop.

Ok, thank you. That's a start...If I find something I'll post.
Do you know anything yet about the seat heaters. Like maybe how to get to them or where they are?

Wow, that was too easy..I wish problems where always that easy...
I took the back off the seat, and the air line came off. I slid it back in and what do you know, it worked..![naughty](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/naughty.gif)
Still have to figure out the heater issue. I'll have to look into that later

Ok, same problem exists, in both front seats.
So I've noticed that the air bladders fill up, but deflat after a few minutes. Can anyone tell me what controls this so I know what to replace?
