Um...Yeh...a part number for the rest of us please? Also, what dealer are you using and what price are you getting? I think it would be cheaper for me to order from another dealer and have them shipped, as my local one quoted $150!

NOTE! DOUBLE CHECK THESE NUMBERS using mercedes EPC and/or ORDER USING YOUR VIN to make sure you get the right part!! I don't take any responsibilities for typos! I was unable to immediately locate different colors for the all weather mats.

I think I found them (and the thread the info came from) but ever "slightly cheaper" than parts.com. If anyone has trouble and needs a direct link, see if this works
punch one of the following "Q66804_ _" part numbers into the "search by part number" window and hit the corresponding search button.

IF ALL THAT FAILS, GOOGLE "Mercedes Benz of Fort Lauderdale, parts" AND CLICK THE ONE THAT SAYS "TRADEMOTION"...THEN ENTER PN.
It was around $116 shipped to NC I think...
Not sure it's needed, but once it returned the part, I defined the year/make/model/PN again and resubmitted it using that corresponding search button...just so I could take a screenshot in case they ship the wrong mats. At least I'll have some evidence to show I followed the process best I could...may not be necessary... but what the heck..they don't show a picture to verify against! Why do they make it so hard to find ______ floor mats??? ;-)

my goodness! sorry for the extremely late reply! I ended up ordering them through the Florida dealer. Yep, these are the right PN's. I think they had to make them because the dye smell is VERY strong...be prepared to vent the sunroof for several weeks or spray them with something. They do not say "E55 AMG", as I thought I had seen on some OEM ones..but instead simply have the complete "AMG" logo. I actually like it better that way. They fit extremely tight, as they should! Comes with clips, mine are still in the bag with no sliding around. They really can't move much at all because they fit so well. Go for it boys and girls!
So, what exactly were you "worried about"? For the record, these are OEM mats. They come from the Original Equipment Manufacturer (MB). Straight from a dealership in FL, with all of the OEM tags, stickers and invoices. It's most likely new stock vs. old stock. I assure you the quality of mat is equal or better and the quality/stitching of the logo is equal or better as well. I've seen the E55 AMG mats in person. I (personally) think the understated simplicity of the solo AMG logo matches the demeanor of the car better. Not sure of the price or material age differences, but I'm happy with mine and you're happy with yours.

I have an 01 E55, and unless someone can tell me otherwise, the OEM floor mats are no longer available. I used the part number above for black/silver mats, and they only come with a Mercedes logo; they do not have the AMG logos that my old ones (original) have.
I tried at the dealer and at ECS Tuning, with no luck. The descriptions seem to say for AMG only, and the part number is unchanged, but the product you get is the wrong product.

Any other sources or suggestions?
I had to take ECS Tuning to task about purposely selling the wrong product. Basically (I believe, as I told them) they were playing the bait and switch game, purposely sending the wrong part and hoping the customer would say "oh well, they look nice anyway, so I'll keep them"... I packed those beautiful WRONG mats back to them and made them contact "their source" to verify they are the correct mats, with AMG lettering, before sending them to me wrong again, or crediting my PayPal account. They issued me a credit. I then went to my dealer and purchased the last set they had in stock. As you can see, my new mats do have the ////AMG lettering, but they do NOT have the E55 lettering. Those mats were last sold by Murad Motors on Ebay and they sold out in May of this year, I believe. Obviously, I scoured the internet before I ended up purchasing mine from the dealership.
ECS told me, back in July, that they would take all advertising down from their site listing the wrong product.
Here are pics of my new mats. If I were you, I would call every dealership within a reasonable distance from where you live if you want these.
benzokirk - thank you for your reply and the information. That's disappointing about ECS, as the same thing happened to me, and I also suggested that they fix the descriptions. It cost me $32 to return those mats, which to me was quite a 'tax' to pay for a mistake that could have been avoided.
I will make some calls - I appreciate the suggestion. Thank you.

No worries! It is unfortunate that ECS is still advertising these mats the same way, but they also should've paid for the shipping of the wrong mats back to them, as they did in my case.
Update: I picked up these original mats in 2014 (approx), and as far as I can tell, this was the last set available across the U.S. dealers. There were four places who had the part number, but 3 of the 4 dealers had the generic E-Class mats, and not the AMG specific mats.
Those floormats do not look the same as the ones that my 2001 E55 had. As far as I know they were the OEM floormats.
Strigoi,
Hah...good eye! I checked the original ones that I still have (same as yours), and you are correct. I was so focused on avoiding the Mercedes logo mats, that I didn’t even notice. Apparently they made a change. Interesting.
If anyone is interested, I have a complete set of slightly used E55 AMG silver/black front and rear mats I need to get rid of. I always purchase new mats when getting a Merc, so I had them left over. PM me if interested.
Mercedes has always been good to keep old parts in production and available, but I was disappointed when just a few years after my S600 was made, the mats were not available with the V12 logo on them.
