STILL GET COMPLIMENTS DAILY

Not sure about you guys but i daily drive this thing since FEB/MARCH of 2010 . I sh*t you not no matter where I go , I get compliments on it daily hell even more then once in a day .. Honestly its a good feeling figuring the body style is over 15 yrs old even though the car isnt . Not sure if the black wheels wit polish lip and smoked out windows plays some part but I'm sure it helps .
Is it just me or is this the case with you guys also

sometimes wish i had two

I get ask all the time "what year is your car" they get blown away when I tell them it's a 02. Although once I am done with headers and tune I'm looking at a CLS for the next car and do plan on keeping the 55. I'm loving my car even more since I did the retorfit of the headlights it looks like a completely different car when driving at night.

Nothing like driving in the Sun when it's night lol.

BTW your car is looking badas@ that's probably why

I get compliments all the time in my '99. A lot of people miss the classic MB look.

I just got a compliment the other day from a teenager when I was gassing up the beast...I was surprised.

"I get ask all the time "what year is your car" they get blown away when I tell them it's a 02."

I was giving my my most important customer a ride home from a golf scramble in my '01. The second he gets in it starts...

"Wow. This is a really nice car. So clean. What year is this?"

"It's an '01"

No kidding, he looks at me, kinda pissed, like I am actually lying to him. I was actually kinda panicked.

"Tom, it really is an '01. It has 88K on it. I actually bought it at 76K three years ago, don't get to drive it near as much as I want to (have a work truck)."

He chills out, amazed that I am telling the truth. Goes on to tell me to let him know if I am ever thinking about moving it...

W210s just scream class. Love the body style and AMG monoblocks only make them better.

Your cars look amazing guys, future classic.

That pic kind of makes me want to slap my Monoblocks back on my car.

im waitin on some 20's to ship to me and the more i look at my black monos the more i wonder if im gonna be more happy with my stockers .Thought i would like my tsw split spokes reps more cuz they looked newer style when i 1st got the car but the monos prevailed and others got sold . Love the color of fintails ride , if i ever repaint my car i will do a color change to either that dark gray or white ..

i'm on the fence with my Brabus wheels. i really like the way they look, but i think i like the stock wheels better.

Nice, another tectite car.

I don't see myself ever changing the wheels on the beast - they just look perfect. Monoblock is a classic wheel, looks good on most anything from W126 on up.

My Monoblocks are going back on soon. I've got a vibration around 43-55mph that I (and my mechanic plus his boss) think is tire related. I'm just going to put the stockers back on and hope it goes away. The only thing that sucks is the stock wheels have some cheap tires on them that are very noisy. Come tax return time I'll probably get the Brabus wheels straightened, curb rash removed and powder coated w/ a polished lip (was quoted $175 per wheel at a local place).

The monoblocks are a great looking rim but they are SOOOOOOO heavy. I have 19" rims on my C43 that are lighter than the stock 17" monoblocks.
