Hold on guys! It's a hell of a nice, low mileage car. The price reflects the owner's pride in his vehicle. Note perfect maintenance and thoughtful upgrades.
Unfortunately, premium cars have giant depreciation which outstrips their intrinsic value (e.g., for the price of this car I could buy a brand new, entry level, Honda Accord). The imaginative man would balance intrinsic value with desire. If some one desires the car to sufficient extent, then there's the sale.
Let's not crap on each other about what our cars our worth. As far as I'm concerned I'm stepping into a real winner every time I engage my '99 E55 for a tactile driving experience. What's it worth? There's the rub . . . but don't rub my nose in it.

2001 E55 AMG (sold)
Oh, and don't forget that most Porsches of that era priced out higher than the E55.

Hey everyone, no worries about hurting my feelings.... It's true I did put what I felt were quality upgrades into it and I think I was wishful thinking on my price... Even with the price where it is I did have a number of folks interested, which means the car is desirable.
Fortunately you all helped me (quickly) come back to reality, I'm going to try and bring the price down a little and see.. I'm going to bring it down to $21,500 and see what happens..

2001 E320 Wagon, 2006 LBZ Silverado, 2007 E63 (sold), 2001 E55 (sold)
You might get lucky selling it away from a message board. Dealers get away with selling 85,000+ mile E55s for $17k or more sometimes.
