He doesn't need to... He's not the one doing the criticizing. Maybe he wants to give the option of privacy for people who sit in the back? Looks functional to me. If it were fake curtains that don't close up, and were there just to try and look cool, maybe I'd have a more adverse opinion such as yours. And generally, curtains for autos are typical on VIP-styled cars, which are medium to large sized luxury automobiles; Lexus LS/GS platform, Acura RL. The E class fits under that category. Looks fine to me.

Everybody....calm the #$%@ down...it's the man's car, so he can do whatever he wants....and for you guys...its the forum...you can give whatever critic you want....I like to hear both sides...
Now my opinion, I have never seen curtains on cars before...hence I think it looks cool...I can never put them on mine because I have a hard time keeping the car clean the way it is.....my two cents.
