Steering wheel tabs
What's the safe/correct way to remove those 4 tabs in the steering wheel? I will try to treat them and remove the sticky stuff. Thanks.

2008 ML350
Tacky/gummy surface: steering wheel buttons. Headlamp switch bezel.
Use Goo-gone on a cotton cloth. (Old white T-shirt rag.) Let it penetrate and give it a good finger rub. Be methodical and patient. It works. You may also find the same problem on the headlight switch bezel.
