Most of the reviews Ive read say the Bilstein Sports make the car ride like its on bricks because they are over-dampened. I ordered a set of Koni Yellows for my E320,they're scheduled to arrive on the 28th.

Check..

And see,if they have bilstein hd or comfort, you will be such better off than with the Koni...

I believe the US specs shims are #4 in the front and #3 in the rear. You can check yours with the dealer using the VIN. I understand that most of you put #1 all round but I read some older forums regarding the pads and it should be #2 in the front and #1 in the rear....mainly because the front with the engine, is heavier then the rear hence over time...the car would look like a NHRA funny car....as the pads settle in.

I have bilstein sports and they are pretty stiff. I will say that they felt smoother than my stock shocks but the stocks had 107k when I changed them out. The bilsteins offer GREAT performance!
