Hey guys. Hope all my American neighbours had a great Thanksgiving. I have had my local stealership diagnose my vacuum issue with my W210. The door locks would pop up, but the gas cap would be delayed, then finally the trunk would release. So I need a new vacuum pump. The one underneath the back seat. My brother can do the work to install, but where is the best place to find the part? You don't want to know what the stealership quoted me. I did a search but most of the info was about the issue, not the best place to get the part...

Well thanks 503C43 for the links. Before I went the route's you advised, I looked close to home. Found a used one at a wrecker in Burnaby for $400 after tax. My brother installed it in less than 15 minutes and the locks all work great. The air bladders in the seat pump up faster and no issue with my truck. Have an awesome weekend and thanks agin for the help. The W210 forum has been very helpful to me.

P.S. With everything working on my car again, I am now back in love with my car. The 210 E55 is such a great car. In the almost 2 years of ownership, this has been the only issue (maintenance not included obviously)....
