So I've had this mod for a few months now and I have say it's pretty slick and everyone that gets in my car they immediately ask where and how much. This display unit uses the same GPS chip found in most GPS units ie Tom Tom, Garmin.
After testing for a while there is a 3% variance. Meaning if your going 65 and you speed up or slow down it will be off by 3 MPH. If your cruising then your right on with what is reading on your normal cluster 100% dead on. If you woot it... it will be off by 4% again this is typical as the satellite is still trying to lock on. I'm ranting.. pics attached. Pretty bright at night and it's a clean install no wires. Hard wired into the fuse box.
I'd figured I'd share with you guys. I don't even look down anymore at my cluster to see my speed.
