Engine Cover Question
Hi,
Ive been looking at the E55. I see that the engine cover that used to have the Mercedes Symbol is missing. Is it common for it to be not there?? Should I consider those cars that don't have the symbol?

Yes its very common the star logo is gone. Mine is gone about 4 months ago, its only a plastic sticking on it. Keep in mind, plastic will melt few years after in the engine bay. Specially E55 has big engine. The Star doesnt mean anything.....

I put some super glue behind the little holes where the emblem was holding onto the back side of the cover and it has held on pretty well. Before that, it was shaky, probably from the vibration of the engine.
