Water in transmission issue?
Does the W210 suffer from the same designflaw as the early W211's do on the radiator leaking into the transmission cooler?

I see some cars with this issue in our workshop, but only the E320's with M104 (Fail the trans cooler inside the radiator, and other cases fail the engine oil cooler). In the amg cars i see only this problem in the E50's/E60's pretty rare this models round here but we have some customers with some examples
I do not seen any e55 with this fail.. only crushed radiator cause the radiator support crash

OK, thats good to hear! I was thinking about adding an external oil cooler instead or replacing the radiator just to be sure about it.
I have a small loss of coolant though, thats what made me worried in the first place. I have topped it up but it continues to loose some. Had a garage pressure test it and it tested ok, they also checked the transmission oil and it looked good, but they didn't test it...
Any usual places to look for coolant leaks? It runs good and i don't feel any excessive pressure in the system after driving, so not thinking headgasket, but with my luck....
