Salvage e55

I saw this and thought well since the damage has been repaired why not. Then I saw that it has a "sport" sticker. Did e55's come with this sticker? Also it's only on the drivers side and it doesn't have monoblocks. I figured this might part of the repair. He hasn't responded to my email yet.

No W210 E55 comes with that.
I'm guessing since it's a salvage one, he may have gotten the parts from a W210 E430 Sport.

Ask the seller if still have pre-fix picture and VIN number. Sometimes you run VIN number in google you can find pictures and some info.

Brabus exhaust! wow. Rear right door do not fit properly the fender line, i'm sure the rear right wheel has + camber, maybe damaged subframe, might need alignement, wheels are from the sl60amg or clk55 special 2 piece 18s pretty rare and beauty. check why the car sits to high for a e55

Take the car too a good indy shop inspect everything specially the frame. IMO, the car only worth $7500 to $8000 because you might need spend some good $$$ to repair it.

2007 SL55 AMG
looks like the car has been sandwiched before. front and rear end looks janky. aftermarket taillights and headlights also. Its worth about $3k.

it looks like an E430 btw. ride height isn't correct and if you look closely at the pictures, you can see that the seats are not E55 seats.

The badges are not in the correct location, the /////AMG badge especially. The rear passenger door doesn't look right, most likely was rear ended.
The rear tires have odd camber

You don't want anything to do with this "E55"

P.S. I see those rims all the time around my neck of the woods, although they could be replicas.

There's not a chance in hell that I'd ever consider buying that car. Even if it was a real E55 (which I'm doubting) I wouldn't pay over $5,000 for one with a salvage title. I also agree about the rear wheels, something doesn't look right.

Whatever you do, DO NOT buy that car.

From what I can see, those aren't E55 seats either. Run away - you can get a decent enough clean title real E55 for not a lot more.

I want to go investigate this one but it smells fishy and it's in a bad part of town....so to save myself any trouble I might not get to the bottom of it. Any mods want to delete this thread, please do.

Clearly not a Mercedes Benz. I mean the seller himself said he's selling a Mercedes Bens. I'm assuming that's Bens' ride? LOL

to be honest with you...stay away from that car. You can get a decent car with a little more money and have a real E55!!

I would stay away low miles or not nothing is original on that car looks good now give it a few years then it will fall apart. Tail lights, headlights, wheels and im sure paint are not Original. I would not even waist my time with that car.
