You won't be disappointed and you will notice a difference in throttle response as well as power immediately.

I have the exact same set up you just bought and I am LOVING it

I just put in a set of new hood struts and vacuum the bottom of the back of the firewall. Can't wait to get the airbox.

Renntech Airbox

Well got the airbox in my car today and did a quick ecu reset and took the car out for a spin. WWOWW..it's incredible. I thought the car was fast after I had the headers on but now....that 60 to a 100 just come up so fast and smmooooth its just awesome. The biggest difference I notice with the Renntech is the smoothness the power band coming in under acceleration. Thanks Gary!!

I got the plugs and wires this past friday and planning on the coming long weekend to put them in. Also, I have make an appointment with my local garage (who put my headers in) to put the AMS crank pulley in this thursday. Had the pulley and locktite sitting in the trunk of the car for a month now, just finding the time to do it. Will definately keep you guys up to date with all my mods.

Renntech Airbox

When my Renntech box arrived, my wife says, "What is that thing for?" I said, "Helps the motor breathe better." I was thinking to myself "Don't ask me how much it costs." And " Man this thing is expensive, I hope it works."

If you like the performance now on the first drive, wait a week. Let the ECU recalibrate the extra air flow for a 100 miles. You are gonna feel the strength from 20-70MPH to be outstanding! My car now has a slight vibration/rumble at idle kinda like a BBC. The motor is still very subtle without being obnoxiously loud like I had anticipated when I did the x-pipe/resonator delete and headers. The motor runs cooler now too, below the 80C mark. Have fun with the car!

2007 E63
I got challenged last week when i was with my W211 by other Mercedes.
W212 E350. I pulled him twice by 4 to 5 cars. The guy got pissed off because he thought his newer Mercedes can smoke the previous generation. And I still have my AMG badge ! I have walked a W212 E63 6.2 and M6 few months ago. Sure, i am not stock.....

wait a minute,you beat a newer E63 and M6 but only pulled an E350 by 4 cars.must have been one fast E350.

I was coming home tonight from work and a Porsche Chayenne GTS pull up beside me on I84 and continue to pass me. I let him go by a few cars ahead and then step on the gas....back in the days...just a couple of days ago, my car would have growl and shake a little bit before the torque of the V8 takes over. This time, there is not shaking or hesitation but smoooth power band with the torque and pass the suv like it was standing still This thing is no joke I will definately enjoy it till thursday before putting in the pulley.

Hahah nice

I embarrassed a C300 over the weekend. Pretty bad, I was on 495 and I saw someone in the rear pulling pretty fast, I went to the middle lane (was in the fast lane) I thought at first it was a C63. I thought to myself shi# no way I'm going to challenge that beast as he passed me a tad I quickly noticed the C300 badge I knew that it wasn't a fair race but he launched back and waited for me to catch up. Once there were no cars in front of us.. it was game on.. I dropped it to 3rd she roared and that was the end of it.. probably pulled on him like 4-5-6 car lengths pretty embarrassing to say the least. I bet he thought , oh old E55 pfft I got this...

*I'm looking to buy a CLS63 next year (Jan) and I can honestly say that I was thinking about selling my E55 but I just can't part myself from her. She's just sexy as hell and can still kick some serious as@. Not to mention the maintenance on this car is ridiculous. Probably spent 2.5k in 3 years. Now she needs rotors and a few other things but still it's expected. BEST bang for the BUCK. (I also don't drive her in the winter)

Everyone should look into retrofit. Best Mod I ever done----

Headers and Tune next!
