What correct tire pressure for Hankook Ventus V12 (2001 E55)

Just bought my first set of tires for my 2001 E55 that I bought used last year. "T-Squared" on this message board highly recommended the Hankook Ventus V12 and they checked out well in my research so I went with those.

What tire pressure should I go with and why?

Thanks.

40psi front and rear seems to get me the most even wear on both of my cars.

OEM + 2 (33F/35R) seems to work for me. +2 decreases the harshness of city driving, and makes for a smooth freeway drive without compromising traction.

Hey T-roll,

Glad to hear you purchased a set of the Hankook's, by far the best tire for the money. You will like them.

The pressure I used for the best balance of ride, traction and wear 34F - 36R. The side walls on the Hankooks did not seem to support the lower tire pressure (tires would bulge)

I just changed my Hankooks out, I had 18K on them, the rears were done - the fronts had another 3/4k left on them.

Went with Michelin Pilot Super Sports - they are great - I like them better then the Hankooks (even at the 40% price premium) very quiet, stiffer, great traction and they fill up the wheel openings in the fenders better with a more aggressive look.

The Michelin's I run exactly the recommended tire pressures 32F - 33R. The stiffer sidewalls support a lower tire pressure without bulging.
