Fender roll...

Does anyone has done any or know ppl that has done fender roll to accomodate bigger tires in the rear? I am looking at a 19x10 rim and 275/35ZR19 for the rears. With an offset of 35 in the rears, the tires would stick out a little. I would like to pull out the sheet metal a little flare to accomodate the wider tires.

Any suggestions?

19x10 35mm offset in the back with a 275 will fit without rolling. I had a 9.5 with 275/30/19 and 32mm offset and it still had room to go.

That's what I want to hear. Should I push it to 32 instead or stick to the 35? I would like to get some forgestars with 10". I would like to have greater concavity

Any pics of the Rims you plan on getting . FYI E55 come with the fenders rolled all around. My old E430 needed to have them rolled same thing with my old S500.

The AMG's fender are already rolled from factory. Last time I try to get my E55 rear fender rolled they could only do about 5mm.

That's why I installed wheel studs--I can put a spacer behind the roller Part of the reason anyway. Wheel studs are the best $200 mod for any car. First thing I do to all my cars is stud them.

Too lazy to take a picture myself, but this is about how far I generally roll my fenders (not my car and please ignore the "stance" he's ruined his BMW with):

In due time friend, all in due time I need to order the KW V2's in order to see just how wide I can go wheel wise. I do need to be somewhat conservative width wise, so I can avoid rub issues on the track. 295/30/18 Pilot Sport Cups all around on HRE R40s. If 295s dont fit on front, I can switch to a 285 or 265. I could always bump the rear wheels up to a 19" HRE P40 which would accomodate either a 305 or 325 tire. How's that for getting ahead of the game?

Somebody's gotta straighten out this forum since that "wonderful" thread by "uXXXXXXXXbenzo." Do you have any pictures of your RENNtech airbox?

My thoughts exactly! What color? I'm befuddled. Black? Getting a little ahead of myself right now... a couple too many redbulls today.

Silver over black, no window tint (although it's a possibility), and it will have stoptechs that can be powdercoated any color of the rainbow basically.

That shouldn't be too hard to squeeze. I fit 285 front and 295 rears on my S74 just before I sold it. MB's are very easy to cram massive tires under thankfully. Porsches as well.

I like the 4th picture as well as the top. I may go with one of those to see what it looks like. I can always paint the wheels a different color after the fact. It would be too difficult to strip the paint back off then clearcoat to the "brushed/polished look.

Have you guys have Forgestars f14. The 18" is the lightest wheel I have known for a rim that size. It came in at an amazing 18.3 lbs!! That's what I want to get. I also heard that Eurocharge has a special going right now....buy a set of f14s and get a tune for free. Thats an awesome deal.
