Hello Guys,
Looking to purchase a 2001 E55 from AZ that is in beautiful shape but it has two cracks in the back of the dash and one large one around the airbag area. Headliner in rear is sagging too. He said this is due to the heat and I know he is telling the truth.
I spoke with a local upholstery shop that said the cracks can be fixed with epoxy...and the headliner is very simple. My main concern is the dash! Has anyone used this method he was describing to me and are the results good and long lasting opposed to replacing the entire dash?

from what i seen at my dealership, they epoxy the crack , a quick smoothing and then a sray dye is applied.... looks okay ,but i could always tell, only because i m looking for it though!!!! at least thats what they did at ours!!!! No ones ever come back to complain though!!!!
