Caliper Mounting Bolts..
I want to change just my front pads and don't want to remove the rotor. Do ya need a special tool to loosen the mounting bolts. Tried several in my tool box and nothing fits.
I really don't feel like taking off the caliper this morning....oops just read here http://www.pelicanparts.com/techarti...eplacement.htm that I need a a 7mm hex key socket
Guess I needed coffee..lol

Now that I have it off, it is a 7mm hex key, man I need to get a lift so I could see this easily. It was sort of rounded..

If you use a 3/8 drive gun to remove it helps prevent them from rounding off. Between a 3/8 and 1/2 guns you can pretty much zip off every bolt involved in R&R pads/rotors.
