American W210 E55 AMG Suspension
Hey there, everyone ang sorry for my bad English I've got an 2000 MB W210 E55, it's american version. I've noticed that american one got higher suspension then europe one. Can anyone tell me the difference between them? What should I replace to get suspension to Europe standart? I'm pretty sure it has an Elegance springs, but in the vin code it says Avangarde. Can you tell me part number of the lowest factory springs used on W210? Thank's for help and sorry for my English again Vin code of my car is WDBJF74JXYB041409.

Switch to the AMG Euro springs which make the car sit lower or go aftermarket H&R or Eibach.
For AMG Euro springs see this :

Ask for Gert.

I've found Avantgarde springs from E320. Can you tell me where can I found the part number on them? There just some yellow line and red points at the end. Here it is:

According to this thread http://www.benzworld.org/forums/sale...5-springs.html
the part numbers are
Front:
A210.321.32.04
Rear:
A210.324.38.04
Not intending to add to the confusion. If anyone can clear this up once and for all I'd be grateful!

AMG doesn't have their own springs but the Euro version of the stock springs make the car sit lower, which I understand is your goal and they don't sacrifice comfort, because they're linear just like the American version.

I've contact him, but all he can do is send me the springs for 390 euro+shipping, he don't want to tell me the numbers. I can buy springs here for 60-70$, so I don't want to pay 6x more for them. I just need the part numbers of the lowest Avantgarde spec springs which will fit to E55 or Euro spec AMG springs. I used to have E320 Avantgarde, car was imported from Japan and it has really good fitment(or how it calls on English ), but I sold it and can't find new owner to ask him look on springs. I've read that springs has a different color mark on them, like 1x red point - 1x yellow point, but can't find which combo is the lowest. Anyways guys thanks for help, at least you try, at the russians forum they just kicked me to google or to use search, which was useless.
Good luck guys... if anyone needs a set, I can get them as well.

I had togo to dealer and return springs a couple times because the dealer parts rep nor the Indi mechanic could figure out the right springs because they had togo in and supposedly put in all options specs

I'm back and I've lowered the car. First thing I did was replace the rubber spacers(google translate) on the rear springs to 1 from 4, so rear and front side become flat. But that was not enough + my friend offered me set of H&R Race springs for 25$ for all(yeas twenty five dollars for 4 H&R springs), so now car sits perfectly. Here is some photos. First is the car when I bought it, second when replaced rubber spacers and 3d on H&R springs. Rims are R19.

Lowering springs
Very nice Like the rims....I have some 211 rims sitting in my storage, originally bought them for winter tires....I think I might plastic dip them and use them for my car....I like the gunmetal color but matte black looks good on the obsidian (can't spell) gray color too....
