Hi Guys,

I own a 2002 55, not too long ago I purchased some LED parking light replacement bulbs from JDMToys on eBay. The lights looked great for about an hour before they fried my wiring harness. It cost me about $150 to get all back in order w/ the orig bulbs put back. I do miss the look of those led's, the seller told me it must have been a faulty resistor that is rare.

Have any of you had luck with these, if so please advise where you got them? I am def not going to mess with these guys. Do not want to go through that experience again.

I changed out both my lighting pods out back. I found them on Ebay - smoked as they should be for an AMG model. I paid about $120 for them a couple years ago. It does cause a malfunction code, but the look and added brightness are worth it for me. I don't even think about the beep and having to clear the error each time I drive it. I saw them about six months ago from some company for $300-something. You can readily find the un-smoked ones online, but glad I waited for the smoked version.

 

one of my leds burned out and melted the holder to the point that one of the pins dont seat correctly on the plastic holder that goes into the housing . Also from all of the differnt style leds Ive tried none of them seem to throw out the light better then the stock actual halogen bulb . I have tried probably 4-5 differnt leds in the parking light , sure looks cool as hell though matching the hids and the hid fogs
