Spring interchange
Sorry if this has been asked before I did a search on google but did not come up with anything.
My question is....
Would H&R Springs and shocks from a 1999 CLK 430 fit the 2001 E55 AMG? My buddy has a set that he would sale to me for dirt. Just trying to figure it out before I try & install them and find out the hard way!

If you read my thread below,I'm running Eibach springs on mine. If you do a research you'll find Eibach does not make springs for the E55. The closest application they have is an E430. Now if I remember correctly the difference between E430 and E55 is about 100 lbs. The E55 is 100 lbs heavier. The springs work great in my case but a coupe to a sedan might be too much of a difference so I wouldn't do it. Or,if you DIY so you don't have to pay for the swap you might want to try,see what happens...
