Something I forgot to mention the other day as well, was the I had spoken to KIP to get an update about my Killer Chiller kit. I was told that I was in the queue and should have my kit soon. I'm hoping the kit arrives before the E55 leaves the shop so it can be fitted simultaneously with the rest of the new parts I've ordered.






I'll have more updates on the brake upgrade kit soon as well thanks to forum member CM60K (Zayed).

what happened to your car, why did you have to repaint your front fenders?
did you roadrace her in the sand dunes, fenders got sandblasted?
best place in the world to own a w210 is in Saudi Arabia, these cars won't rust there.

The body work is being done because I want the car to be in pristine condition. Once it's out of the body shop, the interior is getting done too. The paint damage wasn't from sand storms etc. at all, it was from idiots in car parks and stone chips. I'll be taking a drive to Saudi Arabia soon actually, as the only official Vossen retailer is based there. Luxury Automotive in Al Khobar to be exact.

I'm in the UAE, so rust isn't usually an issue here either to be honest. The desert is the desert. Same could be said for cars in the States too no doubt, New Mexico for example?

I've not posted much recently, but I have some updates worthy of one.

I finally took delivery of my Killer Chiller kit from KIP after having to wait a couple of weeks in their production queue. It arrived his morning and will be dropped to SilberArrows tomorrow in preparation for the fitting.



Also, a few days back I took a drive to meet my friend Zayed in Abu Dhabi to collect my custom big brake kit from him. I will have the calipers painted gloss black, with white AMG logos before also being taken to SilberArrows for fitting by Zayed.



Lastly, after speaking to Zayed about the brake kit measurements etc. he made very clear to me the the OEM 18" AMG II Monoblocks I run will not accommodate the front calipers. So today, I purchased a set of OEM 19" AMG IV 2 pieces for my W210.



I need to order some 10-12mm spacers for the wheels to sit how I want them, but at least we can proceed with the brake kit fitting now I have the 19's.

Posts over the next week or so should be quite regular, and mostly video based to show processes of fitting etc. for all parts.

The humidity in the eastern-Saudi coast is Unlike anything I've seen, any paint damage/scratch would start eating it self very fast.
But still, better than road salt and snow here.

Just curious, most 19" in the rear wrap 30 series tires on them. I see you decided on 35 series, is there a specific reason why?

The tires in the shot are not mine. They were on the wheel only for protection reasons. My rears will indeed by 30 profile as you pointed out.

Nice exhaust mate!!! I've always thought that going -> Kleemann + catless brings a lot of rasp. But this sounds perfect!

I hear you Faiz. There are so many opinions and many topics in the forum regarding our cars, but that is all they are usually, just opinions. I try my best to just share information and let you all decide for yourself what you like or dislike.

I'll get some more exhaust videos done to show more of the sound, including drive by clips etc.
