So......I was trying to better understand the Benz default alignment ranges for the E55.......and I see the rear camber is -2.3 (+-.30) and fronts are about -1.5 (+-.20).
Is this correct?
I see posts on other boards about inside tire wear.....and kinda wonder, do some people just ditch these specs for a slightly less agressive negative camber.....in favor of better tire life?

TIA

My car at stock height wore the tires really evenly. There isn't any factory adjustment for toe/ camber at the rear and I havent noticed much more wear after lowering so I dont see any reason to touch it for now.

Not sure what you mean by "factory adjustment".
Any alignment spec book has target ranges listed for toe and camber front and rear on W210 E55s. If the car is machine aligned (indy or stealership) those parameters are in the machine......start and finish.

yea they have target ranges and my rear is all in spec. The factory links don't allow for adjustment for the toe/ camber unless you install adjustable links.

Glad your car is in spec. Congrats.
Couple questions....what good are target ranges if there's nothing to adjust?

How is the dealer showing before and after numbers if they adjusted nothing?

Who would design a suspension system with no adjustment for camber and toe?....MB?

Bump.
So everyone is really running as much as -2.6 in the rear (and almost as much in front)?
