Brake lights

Long story short , rear brakes light not working when pedal pressed , but the rear window brake light turns on . Now if it was the brake switch at the pedal wouldn't that keep the rear window light from lighting up also??The parking lights work just when pressing brakes get nothing except from the center rear windshield brake light ??? Just curious before I order a new brake switch .. Thanks

Do you try to diagnose the car, this kind of issue, could be

SAM module/K40 overload relay/lamp switch-off relay/brake light switch circuit malfunction...!!

I've check bulbs and fuses . But most ppl I've seen that break switch isn't working throw abs/ESP and cruise control don't work so I'm assuming it isn't brake switch before I start lookin other places.

Oh Sorry sorry, i didn't read you check the fuses at this momment. hell is pretty rare maybe you have some issue with the light switch/fusebox, this little module control the brake lights and i replace one with this issue 1yr ago +/- :S if you have the possibility try with another one (light switch)
